The Golden Jubilee year of Don Bosco Club Puttur (Regd.) was inaugurated at a grand function on 24^th of April 2016. Mr. J. R. Lobo, MLA, Mangaluru South Constituancy and President, Committee for the Welfare of B/C and Minorities, Govt. of Karnataka was the chief guest. He called upon the members to take the Govt. prgrammes to the needy through awareness programmes. A. B. Veigas, Industrialist was guest of honour, released the Golden Jubilee Logo. Director, Rev. Fr. Alfred J. Pinto inaugurated the website of club (www.donboscoputtur.com). Convenor of Golden Jubilee committee John Cutinha welcomed. Sherry Mascarenhas gave a ‘Lion View’ of the club. J. B. Sequeira presented plan of action for the Jubilee year. Michael D’Souza, the Hon. President of Golden Jubilee Committee, NRI industrialist and former President of the club requested the members to work as a team.

The club felicitated Baptist Tauro, the church sacristian on this occasion.
