Don Bosco Club of Puttur D. K. organized a Get-together on of Writers of its monthly, ‘Putturchem Neketr’ on the occasion of its Silver Jubilee Year on 29^th of May 2016, at Mai De Deus Hall, Puttur. The programme was to thank and felicitate the person who contributed in the growth of the monthly. Ms. Meera Rodrigues, H. M. at Mogarnad High School was the Chief Guest. She congratulated the club for its commited service through the print media. ‘Putta Muttugala Chippu’ a bunch of short stories, authored by Ms. Jessy P. V. was released. Rev. Fr. Joseph Mascarenhas, Silver Jubilarian Priest and native of Puttur parish, Mr. C. L. Mascarenhas, the founder editor of ‘Putturchem Neketr’ and Mr. Cyril Moras, known for his service to people were felicitated. The programme was presided over by Rev. Fr. Alfred J. Pinto. Convenor of Glden Jubilee Committee Mr. John Cutina, President Mr. John Mascarenhas, Secretary Mr. Claudius D’Souza, Editor of ‘Putturchem Neketr’ Mr. J. B. Sequeira & Vice President of Mai De Deus Parish, Puttur Mr. Joe D’Souza were on the dais.
